Well, it's a new season, and at last we all seem to be reaching for our jackets and pushing our summer clothes to the back of the wardrobe. If your child is starting school this year you will be thrilled to know that Clarks has teamed up with Ladybird to produce a lovely keepsake book that you will receive with your child’s first pair of school shoes. There is also a chance to win a life time’s supply of school shoes (YES, YOU DID READ THAT BIT RIGHT) and £100 worth of Ladybird books.

For a chance to win all you need to do is share a photo of your child on their first day of school wearing their very first pair of Clarks school shoes with the hashtag ‪#‎FirstSchoolShoes‬.

Now school trips are much more exciting than they were back in the day, but I can remember a very interesting day at Hampton Court when the whole class got lost in the maze and I was introduced to the delights of fizzy drinks and crisps that I wasn’t really allowed (sorry mum!) But given the freedom to imagine the best trip ever, what would it be?

This year Clarks are running a competition for a whole class to win the Best School Trip ever, so if your child is a little bored this summer why not get them to use their imagination and put together an entry. Videos, drawings – there are lots of different ways to enter and you might just win the prize.
